You need to ask the media why they have banned Mike Stathis. There is no one in the world who can remotely come close to his track record on the collapse. All of his other accurate forecasts aside, there was no one in the world who predicted in a book that the Dow could collapse to 6000, but who also told people to buy at 6500 in March.
The media is lying to you and they only interview clowns and extremists with terrible track records and generic forecasts. If you pay attention to print and broadcast media you are being fooled.

I've read this article several times now and it continues to make me feel sad and angry at the same time.
Thank you for sharing and also of course for being this way and doing all you do.
I was originally thinking that Sheila Bair wasn't a member of the club because from where I sit it looked as if she was amongst the first to aks for a way to shut down a "too big to fail" institution which in itself sounds just like the right thing to do.
However, if she's part of the game then I'll have to reconsider things from a different angle.
Can you disclose what her role was, if there's enough evidence?

Mike,
I agree with you with regards to the mirrors and smoke of the traditional media and the amount of untold truths in western societies. This not only applies to the financial world but also the foreign politics where certain "truths" are accepted whilst other facts, often in the historic dimension, are conveniently forgotten.
But one suggestions I would like to make to you. I find it not helpful that you call yourself the "only real expert" on these matters. This bears to many signs of hubris and diminishes the quality of your analysis. I know this is partly a cultural, i.e. american phenomenon of extrem exaggeration, but I think your texts would be more punchy with a dose of modesty or balance, as even you are not unfaillable and only human. I look forward for your future contribution via this website.

Muko, I understand where you might have formed that impression. However, that is not all the case as far as this hubris. Anyone who truly knows what I have faced understands this. First, my track record AND absense of agenda confirms my claim. But more important, it is not a demonstration of hubris to speak of something that hardly anyone knows; that of my track record. If I were given the platform that my track record deserves (and also what Main Street deserves)I would not speak of my track record at all. I would let the results speak for themself. Given that I have been completely black-balled by the financial media for 3 years now, I will continue to state what is a matter of fact - that I am the only real expert with no agendas committed to helping Main Street...that is until I am heard.
Extreme exaggeration? I do not agree. The facts are documented. No one but me has my perspective in this matter. What has happened to me has been as unprecedented and must never be forgotten or forgiven.
I sacrificed a great deal of time, effort and gave up tremendous financial rewards to try and save Main Street from this mess, and the forces against you - the media and Wall Street - shut me out. The title I claim is all that I have for my sacrifice and I will continue to cling onto it until I am recognized. That's just the way it's going to be. My disposition has been created as a result of the actions of the dirty crooked bastards running the America's fiancial media. I urge you to read the archives when you get a chance.
