This is News?

I recently ran across a story that I wanted to show you because I wanted to point out a few things. It was written by the Associated Press, so that means it was syndicated in hundreds of newspapers across the U.S. 

Before you read it, I want you to note a few things. First, they refer to this period as the "Great recession."   As I have mentioned many times in the past, this period will be recorded in history books as America's Second Great Depression. 

But it will only be acknowledged as a depression once they figure out how Washington and the Fed have "kicked the can" forward as a way to mitigate the effects of the fallout.  This approach will only make things worse and more lasting.
