Did You Get a Raise Last Year? CEOs Did.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - More U.S. chief executives got pay raises than had their pay cut in 2008, a year when billions in taxpayer dollars went to prop up struggling companies and millions of workers lost jobs, according to an AFL-CIO survey released on Tuesday. Using that methodology, Citigroup Inc CEO Vikram Pandit made $38 million in 2008, compared with the roughly $11 million reported in the company's compensation section in U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings.

When does it all end?  In a year that saw the stock market collapse, along with earnings and millions of layoffs, CEOs still managed to get raises.  This is just the latest example of the end of America as we once knew it.  I don't know about you but I'm completely disgusted with Wall Street, Washington, corporate America, and America in general.
